Traditional Braces
Traditional metal braces are made of high-grade, stainless steel and are the most common type of braces. They are small, comfortable and can be decorated by adding colorful elastics for a unique and colorful smile. Choosing colors is one of the fun parts of the orthodontic appointment.
Invisalign
Invisalign is a clear aligner system that discreetly straightens teeth without braces. Custom-made aligners are worn daily and changed every 1-2 weeks to gradually move teeth into place. It’s a convenient option for correcting crowding, gaps, and bite issues, ideal for teens and adults. Invisalign offers a comfortable, removable, and nearly invisible solution for a perfect smile.
Clear Teeth Braces
Clear braces are made of clear ceramic materials and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. Clear braces can help you achieve the smile you want without anyone noticing your braces! Ceramic braces are used mainly in older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns.
Self-ligating Braces
At Miami Smiles Orthodontics we also offer newest technology self-ligating braces. These brackets use a small door instead of elastics to hold wire in place. Research shows that these brackets decrease overall treatment time, require fewer adjustment appointments, and are easier to clean.
Habit Control
Lingual braces are a great treatment option, especially for patients who had braces in the past and who would like to touch up their smile without anybody knowing that they have braces. Lingual Braces are completely invisible from the front when you smile or talk, because they are attached on the backside of the teeth!
Retainers
Retainers are custom-made devices designed to maintain teeth in their new position after orthodontic treatment. They are essential for preventing teeth from shifting back to their original alignment. Worn as directed by your orthodontist, they help preserve your smile’s results long-term. Regular care and check-ups ensure your retainer remains effective.
